Nose reshaping (Rhinoplasty) is intended to produce a more attractive nasal shape and/or a nose in better proportion to other facial features. It may also be indicated for abnormal appearance of the nose as a result of birth defects, injury, or disease. Rhinoplasty can be done “open” or “closed” as an outpatient basis, usually under general anesthesia.
Revision Rhinoplasty: Aesthetic Rhinoplasty
Revision Rhinoplasty: This 28 year old male presented 10 years post correction of a deviated septum at another facility, with the desire to change the appearance and improve the aesthetics of his nose. The patient underwent an Aesthetic Rhinoplasty with no septum correction. In addition, he wanted to address his prominent ears. In the same setting, a bilateral Otoplasty was performed.
