Who Is The Candidate For Buttock Augmentation Using Fat Transfer?

Patients with enough fat stores in their trunk or extremities are good candidates for fat transfer. In this technique, liposuction is performed in the stomach area, hips and flanks, axillary (arm pit) roll area as well as the thighs. The harvested fat will be collected under sterile technique and strained to make it thick and concentrated. This fat is washed with antibiotic solution and re-injected using special canulas into the buttock area for augmentation. Liposuction will give a better contour to these areas, an added advantage to this procedure.
